Pioneer Clubs

Wednesday, April 21 is our final meeting date for the 2009-2010 school year. As we break for the summer, we are thankful for all of God's blessing through the year. A special THANK YOU to all of the volunteer leaders who serve our children in HIS name. You are the heart and soul of this ministry!!!! We pray that the summer months bring many God-filled moments to all, and we look forward to seeing all of those smiling faces in September as we begin our 2010-2011 Pioneer Club year.

What is Pioneer Clubs?

Pioneer Clubs is a proven church-sponsored midweek club program for today’s kids, preschool through middle school. Each week this Christ-centered program integrates spiritual and personal development to help boys and girls build healthy relationships with caring Christian adults, peers, and most importantly, Christ. Thousands of churches choose Pioneer Clubs for its application-oriented inductive Bible study, Scripture memory, life-skills development, and emphasis on discipleship and outreach. Headquartered in Wheaton, IL, Pioneer Clubs has been meeting the changing needs of children with an unchanging message since 1939.

The mission of Pioneer Club at Hopewell is to unite families in the community by providing a scripture based program
that encourages children to lead Christ – centered lives. Come join us on Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for Pioneer Clubs! Children ages 3 through 6th grade are invited to participate in this program that encourages them to live Christ-centered lives through activities, games, singing, Bible study and more. Pioneer Clubs starts each September and runs through the school year until the end of April, but you may join at any time during the year. Be sure to check out the calendar for exact dates. The registration form can be completed and dropped off in the Pioneer Club mailbox at any time.

Children age 3 years (by 9/1/09) through 6^th grade gather each Wednesday night, September through April, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Detailed information and registration forms for this mid-week Christian Club program are available at the Children’s Welcome Center or by clicking the links above. Come check us out...and bring a friend!! It's never too late to join!

Would you like to serve in Children’s Ministries? We are still looking for volunteers who would like to assist in Sunday School classrooms or provide time in any of our other ministries. Please email Patty Wiehler if you are interested.
