Support GroupsCelebrate RecoveryWe all struggle with life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Through God's grace and power, thousands of individuals, in hundreds of churches, have participated in the Christ-centered Celebrate Recovery program. In doing so, they found the freedom from life long addictions and compulsions, experienced the restoration of broken relationships, and found a new life purpose.
Celebrate Recovery offers a person the opportunity to participate in group fellowship where love and hope combine with God's purpose to mend our lives. Read more.

GriefShare Support GroupIt may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly during 13 week sessions to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Read more.

Special Parents GroupSpecial Parents is a unique group of parents of special needs children. Our goal is to provide an environment of love, support, prayer, education and friendship in a safe Christian environment. Who can/should ‘belong’ to the Special Parents group? The children of these Special Parents cover the broadest of spectrums. Some are wheelchair bound, some have learning challenges, some are challenged by hearing loss or attention issues or undiagnosed syndromes. The needs are many and varied. But, the common ground is this: all of these parents are striving to help their children (and themselves) work within the framework of their individual capabilities to ultimately be the very best that they can possibly be. All of these parents want the most updated information and support they can possibly find. All of these parents want to know that they are not “in this alone”- and within this support network, they are reminded that God is with them and His love shines through in the love and caring of those around them.
If you want to know more, please contact either Rose Siegel, the current leader, or Pastor Vicki, the group’s staff representative, (vicki@hopewellumc.org or garyrose2@verizon.net). The first meeting of the fall will be Weds., Sept.17, from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Family Lounge. The group meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month and runs concurrent with PIONEER CLUB schedule. If you would like to have your child participate in the PIONEER CLUB programming, please let us know immediately and we will work with the team to provide support for your child, should he or she need that.
“Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.”
